God bless DOODLING! It’s the best way to cure a bad day….and, save me from a slow day at the office.

….still going strong!….

Since the last Market Day, I’ve been busy working on new creations! The more I play, the more ideas I come up with…I’m really enjoying my newfound hobby!

Here are a few shots of some recent pieces I’ve made….more to come! Stay tuned!

Something has hatched!

I’ve always enjoyed creating things.  Making something, for me, equals instant good mood and peace.  Just recently, I discovered a new hobby that is quickly becoming a bit of an obsession! So much so that I’ve decided to give it it’s own blog…it was beginning to get too cozy at the home of my other blog and, well, that’s a place reserved just for our little crumb snatchers’ photos and such.

I recently found a quote.

“The truly creative mind in any field is no more than this: A human creature born abnormally, inhumanely sensitive. To them… a touch is a blow, a sound is a noise, a misfortune is a tragedy, a joy is an ecstasy, a friend is a lover, a lover is a god, and failure is death. Add to this cruelly delicate organism the overpowering necessity to create, create, create — so that without the creating of music or poetry or books or buildings or something of meaning, their very breath is cut off… They must create, must pour out creation. By some strange, unknown, inward urgency they are not really alive unless they are creating.” – Pearl Buck

I think Pearl was onto something.
