“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” ~ Seneca

Here is my contribution for this week’s Illustration Friday: PREPARE.  I’m not completely finished with this one…but, I sort of like the unfinished look, too.

For the cat lovers: this cat is *this close* to dessert.  For the bird lovers (myself included): today is this little birdie’s lucky day as he has just escaped the wrath of one merciless feline!

Happy ART day!

I created this illustration yesterday. Partly for my contribution/submission to this week’s Illustration Friday (topic this week is “separated”) and partly for my sweet grandma. My grandma recently took a turn for the  worse and the word is she may not pull through.

My grandma is the sweetest lady and I have the fondest memories of her.

I love you, grandma!

I missed the deadline (too late this am) for the previous IF submission for the topic SCATTERED! argh! So, I’m getting a super early jump on my submission for this week’s Illustration Friday. The topic this week: FUEL.

I started this little prima ballerina a couple of days ago…..I finished her up this morning. I thought the perfect addition to this illustration would be the words: BELIEF, FAITH and DETERMINATION. Afterall, aren’t those very things the FUEL behind all amazing ballerinas?

Happy Friday!

I seem to be doing a lot of this lately. Here’s my submission for the upcoming Illustration Friday. The topic is “scattered”. I think I used this illustration to interpret my idea of how it feels when you’ve got a dream….in too many pieces and scattered. I’m currently trying to pull my ideas and plans together to work on a little dream I have. Who knows? Maybe one day it could be a reality for me. 🙂
